Lets try Tom's Mint Julep from "The Ideal Bartender" from 1917

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Mixing Glass
  • Collins or Highball Glass

INGREDIENTS

  • oz Rye Whiskey
  • oz Gin
  • ¾ oz Grenadine
  • ¾ oz Fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz Fresh lime juice
  • Club soda 

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Add all ingredients to mixing glass.
  • Add ice and stir 20-30 seconds to dilute and chill
  • Strain into ice filled Highball glass.
  • Top with club soda
