How Do You Smoke an Old Fashion Cocktail?

Old Fashion cocktails are all the rage these days, and for good reason. They're simple, yet complex; sophisticated, yet down-to-earth. And what could be more perfect for a winter's night than sipping on a smoky Old Fashion?

To make your own smoke-infused Old Fashion, you'll need

1. Chimney smoker top

2. Some good quality whiskey - Check out our recommendations HERE

3. Start by placing a few ice cubes in your glass or one large sphere ice mold

4. add two ounces of whiskey (see full old fashion recipe below)

5. add a dash more than a pinch of wood chips in the smoker top and place it on top of the glass.

6. Using a blow torch, lightly torch the top of the wood until smoke begins to flow into your glass.

Allow the smoke to infuse the whiskey for about 30 seconds, then remove the smoker top and add a few dashes of oooohhhs and awes before your first sip.
